English transcription: Open air barber. UNESCO project for the recovery of the Medina at Fes. This project has been set up in agreement with the Moroccan government. It is in keeping with the international campaign decided upon by the UNESCO General Conference in 1976 to protect the ancient city of Fes.
French transcription: Coiffeur en plein air, à Bab-Ftouh. Projet de l'UNESCO pour la réhabilitation de la Médina de Fès. Ce projet a été défini avec l'accord du Gouvernement marocain en vue de la campagne internationale en faveur de la préservation de l'ancienne cité de Fès décidée par la Conférence générale de l'UNESCO en 1976.
