La cérémonie s'est déroulée en présence du Premier Ministre, M. Abdou Diouf, de plusieurs membres du gouveraement, de l'Assemblée Nationale, du corps diplomatique et du Ministre Amadou Cledor Sall, président du conseil municipal du Grand-Dakar. A l'issue de la cérémonie, M. M'Bow a été élevé à la dignité de Grand-Croix de l'Ordre National du Lion, la plus haute distinction sénégalaise. 39.971 - La batterie de la Pointe Nord.
