Relations avec les organisations gouvernementales

La sous-série des relations avec les organisations gouvernementales est constituée de 73 fichiers nomminatifs d'organisations ayant eu, à un moment donné, des échanges avec l'IBI, que ceux-ci soient modestes ou non.
Ainsi, l'ensemble comprend, dans la majeure partie des cas, des dossiers de faible ampleur. A l'inverse, certains apparaissent plus fournis comme les dossiers de correspondance avec l'UNESCO (IBI-6-2-1-GO.34), ou bien l'UNCTAD (IB-6-2-1-GO.32).

L'ensemble apparait homogène, même s'il est probable que des lacunes demeurent pour les correspondances antérieures aux années 1980. On peut supposer que ces manques résultent soit d'une absence de centralisation des correspondances par le cabinet du directeur général, avant les années 1980 et l'essor de l'organisation, soit ils sont dus à une perte d'information.
