Item is a typed transcription of a note of the German Consulate in Paris. The note is certified translation in German stating that Director-General Jaime Torres Bodet has informed the Consulate of the establishment of the UNESCO Institute for Education and wishes the Senate of the City of Hamburg to approve plans to locate the Institute in the city. The original note was signed by the Director General and Consul, but the copy has their transcribed signatures only.
