English transcription: The temples of Philae are the creation of several dynasties, including the XXXth under Nectanebo I, around 360 B.C. They were continued by the Ptolemies and finished under the Roman occupation in the 1st and 2nd centuries A.D. The island was dedicated to the cult of Isis. Shown here Detail of the Temple of Isis.
