Memorandum of Understanding between UNMIK and UNESCO

Subseries contains memoranda of understanding signed between the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo and UNESCO. UNMIK is acting on behalf of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Kosovo (PISG) Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS). The intervention is in favour of the rehabilitation, safeguard and preservation of the Cultural Heritage in Kosovo with funds made available to UNESCO by member states. UNESCO and UNMIK signed the Umbrella Memorandum of Understanding on 11 September 2006 (not transferred to UNESCO Archives), and items in this subseries are Supplementary Memorandum of Understanding.
