Here, the Paolo Veneziano polyptych (1354) which was dismembered when the Campana Collection was disperced in the provinces. It has been entirely reconstituted and since 1956 has occupied a place of honour at the Louvre Museum, Paris.

The right-hand part was in the Nederlandse Museum at The Hague; the left-hand part which was in the Maritime Museum at Greenwich, England, was generously donated to the Nederlandse Museum, thus enabling the work to be reconstituted as it was originally.
