Daechsel, Gerard Eugène Ferdinand

File contains a copy of a Last Will and Testament of Gerard Eugène Ferdinand Daechsel, written in 1959 when he was only 26 and a reporter at the Moose Jaw Times-Herald. The will indicates UNESCO as one of his legatees. File also includes a letter of transmission, reply letter and internal correspondence regarding the matter. In his letter of transmission, Daechsel writes: "What is more important when one leaves the world, than to insure that humanity which comes after will at least survive to experience the life that you are leaving?"
