Campagne internationale pour la sauvegarde des monuments et sites de la Nubie

Subseries consists of legal instruments signed and issued by member states and UNESCO for the International Campaign to Save the Monuments of Nubia. Instruments were registered first sequentially, then under subsubseries for: A) Agreement with the Government of the United Arab Republic and Final Act of the Meeting of State Members and Associate Members and B) Campaign to save the monuments of Philae.

Admission de la République Démocratique Allemande à l'Unesco

Subseries consists of the request for admission, memorandum, and declaration submitted to the Director-General from the German Democratic Republic. There are also several letters of transmission. The Archives staff registered these in the series as special documents.

Official designation of Benin

Memorandum from Assistant Director-General of the Bureau for External Relations to Assistant Directors-General, Directors of Bureaux, Offices and Divisions at Headquarters, Directors and Chiefs of Established offices away from headquarters. Memorandum reports the change in the official designation of Benin from the People's Republic of Benin to the Republic of Benin. Archives staff seem to have registered the memorandum in this series as a 'special document' based on the historical context.

Accords bilateraux entre le Gouvernement du Cambodge et l'Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient concernant le régime des fouilles archéologiques sur le territoire de cet Etat

Subseries consists of certified copies of bilateral agreements signed between the Government of Cambodia and the Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient. It is unclear if these agreements were sent for informational purposes or if they were sent as supporting documents for later or concurrent UNESCO legal agreements with Cambodia concerning archeological sites.

Agreements signed between the IOC and member states, international or multilateral organizations

Subseries consists of agreements signed by UNESCO-IOC with member states, international, regional, or multilateral organizations. Agreements are filed by organization or by member state, with the exception of agreements on the establishment of Programme Offices in member states, which are in separate files. Agreements are also filed separately when they are signed by multiple organizations (ie. an agreements signed by IOC, WMO and ICSU will be in a distinct file rather than being filed under WMO agreements).
