A programme is being developed at the Ceylon Sri Lanka College of Technology at Colombo in the fields of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering by the Governement of Ceylon Sri Lanka with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme for which UNESCO is acting as Executing Agency. The college, which serves as a model training centre, will not only train technicians and engineers but future instructors as well. One of the students in the Electrical and Engineering Workshop who is studying to be an engineer.
